Do you think that if the doctors had not gotten Edge's test results before Extreme Rules?

He would get really hurt in the ladder match and could possibly be crippled for life?

Yes. You take some harsh bumps in a ladder match. It is one of the more dangerous matches, I would think.

No I don't think he would have wrestled again until the results came in and most likely the writers would have figured out how to do the match without Edge having to get physical.

ummm most likely but im glad they got it so that he is not going to be. WWE tries to keep them as safe as possible. I have so much respect for him unlike alot of wash ups that dont know how to say its time to stop even though i really dont want to.

Edge said it pretty much himself, It was good that [WWE] did because we got the test results and found out before I fell from the ladder and couldn't get up again.

He definitely would've been paralyzed from a fall from the ladder. Unlikely, but possibly death if he landed on his neck.

This actually scared me so, so much. On the SmackDown before his Raw retirement speech, T-Lo announced him vs Del Rio in a LADDER match...

Spinal stenosis is very serious, even if he had just taken a normal body slam the wrong way he could have been crippled... imagine bumps off the ladder on to the mat, or even onto the arena floor... he could have easily died!
