Wikipedia refers the WWE Superstars as professional wrestlers, I think they should change them into entertainers/superstars.

Also, the accomplishments in WWE and other wrestling promotions should be separated as well. The accomplishment in WWE are accomplishments in sports entertainment, while other wrestling companies (outside WWE ) are accomplishments in wrestling.

What do you think???

Does it really matter? They are still athletes even if it's scripted.

Vince McMahon is an idiot. He can deny it, he can change the name of his company, but the bottom line is that the WWE is a WRESTLING company, whether he wants to admit it or not.

In the end you have to remember that professional wrestling is a form of mock combat that contains elements of catch wrestling. Most matches are prearranged by the promotion's booking staff and contain choreographed content and scripted outcomes. Its origins date to 19th-century carnival sideshows and music halls, as part of displays of athleticism and strength. Modern professional wrestling usually features striking and grappling techniques, which are modeled after a diverse set of wrestling and pugilistic styles from around the world.
