NWA/WCW World Title or the WWF title

I'd say the NWA/WCW title especially when it was the NWA title because the NWA had all the real wrestlers and WWF had a bunch of big men that were more show men than wrestlers.

Frank thanks for telling me shit I already knew. I've been watching wrestling since the early 80's

NWA Title became the WCW Title and after WWE buy WCW it became the WWE World Champion but WWE just call it World Champion!

The linage of the NWA Championship can be traced back to Abraham Lincoln back when Pro Wrestling was real.

The NWA World Title was THE World Title. The WWF Title was a company title defended only within the confines of the WWF. Same for the AWA World Title (though Verne Gagne did send the AWA Champ to Europe on occasion for title defenses, and even had a couple of Europeans hold the AWA World Title for short stretches). But the NWA World Title was the only one defended all over the country in dozens of promotions (NWA affiliates, yes, but it gave the appearance of being defended against all comers) and in other countries. The WWF and the AWA didn't do that. And neither did WCW after breaking away from the NWA to become it's own island.

The NWA had Lou Thesz purposely unify dozens of regional championships in the U.S. and other countries throughout the 1950's, to establish the NWA World Title as the one true World Championship in pro wrestling, defended against all comers.
