All of the outcomes are predecided. Everything anyone says is scripted. The matches aren't entirely coreographed, but a lot of what they do is. Like key points in the matches are predecided.

Enough info?

WWE is not fake but it is scripted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oRMI4Ap4ps

the thing is that sometimes in WWE the have accidents happen which are not supposed like a broken nose or something but so its real but they tell the contestants what to do

Some Wrestlers who have been wrestling for years, such as Triple H, The Undertaker, Edge, Kane and Rey Mysterio for example have the freedom to interpret their characters. Most of what you see on television has been written by and approved by the WWE Booking Team. Anyone who saw the ESPN E-60 Episode on the WWE a couple of years ago and The Movie, Beyond The Mat knows that Vince McMahon is involved and makes all the major decisions on the product presented to the public.

I once worked with a guy who was a former professional wrestler. According to him, the entire match is not scripted, just the end. For example, they will tell them that they have 8 minutes in the ring, and the last 45 seconds might be scripted. They can do whatever they want for the first 7 minutes, as long as they are in place to do the last 45 seconds according to the script.

He also said that many times, he and his opponent will get together and practice some things that they want to do in the performance. He described it as almost like a dance and you practice with your dance partner, except instead of dancing, you are throwing each other around the ring.

No most of WWE is scripted like storylines however with everything the WWE Superstars put each other through accidental injuries are almost constant. For Example Cenas injury against Wade Barrett at the House Show shortly after CM Punk joined Nexus was completely unscripted WWE did not want that to happen. Some injuries are scripted like when Orton punts someone in the head that is usually used as a injury to give someone a short vacation or to go somewhere else to train. And sometimes match results can be screwed up to at Wrestlemania 24 Jeff Hardy was supposed to win Money in the Bank, but instead CM Punk won the same thing happened when Sheamus beat John Cena for the WWE Title at TLC in 2009 Cena fell, and went through the table originally Sheamus was supposed to lose, but Cena slipped. So WWE is mostly scripted, but mistakes can, and will happen.

No, not every thing is scripted. Most of the time, like 90 percent of the things that happens are scripted.

Like, you can tell the matches are scripted, because there is no way Orton can just see people coming out of no where and dodge it, when a normal person would have been knocked on there @ss.

Sometimes, what wrestlers say are scripted.

But I think the wrestlers may sometimes put there personality in it and help with the creative team.

Then you have people like The Miz, who enjoys pissing people off, like that Rock impersination stunt he pulled last week. I think he came up with that by himself to piss people off. It pissed me off because I was at the tv show screaming for no reason.

The Rock though, he makes it hard to believe it is scripted. Like he says every thing in his slang, with so much personallity, and he goes out of PG boundaries, and it makes you wonder does he get to write his own scripts for the show while every one else is stuck in PG,

Yes most of it. For example back stage fights can be made before the show begins because they are backstage. If they screw up a backstage event they can fix it by re-doing it. All the words are scripted because a wwe superstar is also an actor in disguise. You can even tell sometimes. Commentators words are not even real because they overuse big words that they don't even know. They do this by someone talking to them through their headsets. You can tell sometimes when one of them stops talking and one talks. Or they don't talk all to gether for a few seconds and talk again. Some matches are practiced before the show. Look at the referee in the match. He is wearing an earpeice. You know when he yells at a superstar and tells him back off. Secretly after he yells that out loud he will say Alright Orton Cena will clothesline you and you will get back up and shoulder block him. He will say something like that and you can't hear them because they manipulate the sound after the show. Thats where the loud kicking sounds come from. You can tell this because they film this in the city they are at two or three hours before. Camera angles make it look real. Get a dvr if you don't have one already and slow it down and then ask yourself is that real? The earpeice the referee wears can be used to tell them to end the match so the don't go over there air time on tv. There are a lot of tricks about wrestling and they are really old ones. Remember wrestling's been around a long time and by now do you think that the number one wrestling program in the world would have figured out some of the tricks or all of them?
