Default Why are headshot banned in the wwe?

I mean come I think it's quite stupid when dude get hit on his arm he acts like he's K.O Also those chairs are not steel chairs. There is no way a guy can swing a real steal chair like that with that much control. They are plastic chairs. Why was it banne. It is stupid

I think it has something to do with being rated PG now. Because of PG, no more headshots with chairs. At least, that's what I've been told.

Plastic? If it were plastic then they wouldn't banned headshots.

They want to cut down on concussions, and getting chair shots to the head helps that. Ever since the Benoit murder/suicide they have been more concious about them

Tell you what kiddo. Why don't you go take a chair shot to the head every day, 5 times a week for the next 10 years?

Then we'll see what your theory is on chair shots at that point.

Otherwise, in the real world wrestlers are now protecting themselves better after what has happened to many of their colleagues.

It's because in the eyes of the WWE it's too brutal for kids to watch. I also think it's stupid but what can you do? right? I guess if I were a 6 or 7 year old kid and saw a guy hit another guy in the head with a chair i would've thought the guy got really hurt.
