I'm pretty sure he was the longest reigning champion in SmackDown!'s history.

John Bradshaw Layfield, was a great WWE Champion in my opinion. And he is really underrated if you ask me. John played the heel role very well and he was one of the top heels in WWE from 2004-2005. He could really control the crowd and he had good feuds with John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerreo and many others. JBL was a good champion during his run as WWE Champion and in my opinion he was a great underrated champion.

JBL was the best heel champion in smackdown history 2004-2005 was the golden years of smackdown.

but now there is miz.so JBL dont look so bad : /
