He was the main guy after Bruno, and before Andre the Giant/Hulk Hogan show up, so why is Bob Backlund not mention?

BQ1 - Which wrestler in your opinion made the most impact in the 80's that is not name Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and Roddy Piper?

Truth is, alot of fans don't know their wrestling history, and bob backlund never really stood out as anything spectacular so he kinda got lost in the shuffle. Most people will remember him for his brief run in WWE in the mid 90's, or even his cameo's on TNA than for his actual fulltime career in the WWF.

BQ1: for the late 80's, definetly ultimate warrior, no one was over like him. In the NWA/WCW, it was definetly ric flair and the 4 horsemen. Magnum T.A. IMO would have gone on to be one of the best ever, had his career not been cut short by his unfortunate accident.

Oh, speaking of Andre the Giant, geesh, he was a GREAT giant wrestler. Too bad he's gone. I find it hard to believe he was busted for asault back in 1989--his mug shot is available of that awkward incident on the following celebrity news site:

I grew up watching him wrestle--I always thought he was a big guy with a soft heart.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that--resources all over the net. Online resources that focus on this topic, and, in particular, the one cited above that came about from my creative effort and input. It's good to have info at your fingertips.
