however the biggest is a difficult word, you know wrestling springs from Iran; he was Takhti from iran, about 40 years ago, because of numerous medals (world cup, asian and Olympic) and also number one in morality

To me that depends on what era you are talking about. Gorgeous George made pro wrestling into it being over the top with characters. Andre the Giant would sell out any show he was on. People would pay and come and see the Giant. Superfly Jimmy Snuka sold out Madison Square Garden although he was never the World Champ. Ric Flair would wrestle for 60-90 minutes a night for weeks on end. The Road Warriors or The Legion of Doom if you will change the tag-team wrestling scene. Hulk Hogan took wrestling mainstream. He was on Late Night tv, commercials, movies, he was everywhere in the Hulkamania heyday. For me personally, I would say that the biggest icon in pro wrestling would have to be Vincent Kennedy McMahon. He was the brain behind taking wrestling out of the shadows and into the Spotlight. He made WrestleMania. He made Hulk Hogan, he made Shawn Michaels, he made Triple H, he made Stone Cold Steve Austin, he made John Cena, he made the Rock, and the list goes on and on and on.

The man is the Wrestling Business. Without him, wrestling would have died a long time ago!!
