Hi Their is on a distinguished road
Default why are WWE arenas so small now?

i remember back from 1996-2008 the arenas were huge but now they fit from 8,000 to 14,000 and look puny

BQ- what do you think about that announcers are able to curse now but they cant say bad curse words but it is a start

prob b/c the stage setup has gotten larger. Or b/c stadiums change styles. Instead of being built outward they are now being built upward (meaning instead of more rows there are more floors) get what im saying.

They're gonna always be different considering WWE travels doesnt stay in one arena.

EDIT: oh yeah, Ive been to a few events, usually they cover the top rows of the arena with a large tarp b/c those tickets havent sold.

WWE and other wrestling organizations have always used normal sized venues for their events (seating 2000-15000) historically, but the wrestling explosion in the 90s 'forced' renting huge arenas to fit the fans. Pay Per Views also require these huge arenas as they are billed as huge attractions and have thousands of fans. It really depends on several factors on what size arena to rent for events. Locality and popularity, advertising, and the 'importance' of the event itself (I.E. Is it a Pay Pey View).

BQ- I think that it really sucks. The job of an announcer is TO PUT OVER THE WRESTLERS IN THE RING and hype the next match or event....PERIOD. Cursing either by the wrestlers during their promos or by 'announcers' like Michael Cole is a lazy way to get the fans attention . This is due to poor scripting by the creative teams.
