When I first heard he died i didn't have a strong reaction cause I was fairly new to wrestling, but after watching his matches, I felt bad for Chavo cause Eddie was like his second Father to him, and to leave like that it's heartbreaking.

I was extremely shocked because he was in a big storyline. I can't remember that ever happening before. Even more shocking was the Chris Benoit story. Their two deaths just made me shake my head and ask what is going on?

I did not think it was real. When I figured out it was true. My eyes kinda filled with tears but I was dissapointed he did drugs.

Then I watched Raw and saw the news :/

I remember turning on the tv late that day to find all the roster and Vince standing on the stage looking solemn and with some crying and wondered what the hell has happened, then they did the video montage with Three door's down song 'Here without you' and i realised Eddie was gone, it was one of those feelings of great shock you rarely get thankfully that literally takes your breathe away. I had to sit down. I remember thinking' This can't be real, we only saw him in a match a couple of days ago, and he looked great, (besides getting hit with a chair by Kennedy).I still can't listen to that song without thinking of Eddie.
