Default Favorite games as a kid

What were they?

Mine include:
Super Mario Bros
Super Mario 2
Super Mario 3
Super Mario World
Mario Kart for SNES
Mario Kart 64
TMNT Arcade
Power Rangers game I had for SNES
Battletoads
Taz
The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare

Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head, yes I know half of them are Mario games and that's because all I owned when I was a kid was Nintendo consoles and I really liked Mario and still do.

Your turn.

Super Mario World. I played the shit out of that game. My dad and I would play it together actually. I hooked up my SNES to the HDTV a few weeks ago and play it occasionally. And last night we were at out friends house and played some on the Wii. I could play that game with one hand tied behind my back and my eyes closed.

Off the head, plus a little bit of thinking: Donkey Kong (SNES), NBA Jam Tournament Edition (SNES), WWF Royal Rumble (SNES), WWF Warzone (PSX), Tekken (PSX), Crash Bandicoot (PSX).

Speaking of Mario, I had the chance to play it when I was a kid, but that was actually one of the video game series that I never really got into, which is ironic since it's so damn famous. If we're talking about Mario Paint or Mario Kart, now that's another story.

For me it's definitely Rock n' Roll Racing. I could never find a place that actually sold it, so I had no choice but to rent it. With all the money we spent on it we probably could have bought it 10 times.

I'm still a huge fan of Blizzard games to this day.

I also really liked MK2 (SNES version) and SF II (Genesis version). Also spent alot of time with Mario Paint..

Damn.

How could I forget Space Quest? Roger Wilco was awesome.

I also forgot Mortal Kombat, Doom, Donkey Kong Country, and WWF Royal Rumble for the SNES.

River Raid, Joust and Dr. J vs. Larry Bird were three of the finest games made over the first 25 years of gaming, period. Screw Myst.

I rocked those badboys for HOURS. I can't tell you how many of my friends I jacked on Dr. J v. Larry Bird, son.

Sega Master System was pretty lackluster, Nintendo was pretty cool, we pretty much just played Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi on the NES and SMS. There were others, to be sure but the faves were the ninja hits. Super Mario Bros. OF COURSE was straight up classic, as was vs. Excitebike.

Genesis and Super NES were pretty cool. Donkey Kong Country remains one of the finest games to trip on acid to......but NHL 93-96 were outstanding for this generation. Sonic was cool and of course Madden.

That's pretty much when I stopped being a kid...actually it takes it a little farther...
