Wasn't sure where to put this, feel free to move it.

Do any of you have Limewire? If so, have you gotten any viruses from it? That is all I keep hearing about Limewire, that is filled with viruses.

Would you recommend it?

I love LW...comes up with good results of what you've searched and I haven't gotten a virus that I know of. The downloading is very fast, along with my computer.

Definitely recommend it.

I use Limewire, and I too love it. Have been for 2 years now and have no got a virus yet that I know of. I think some of it is really just being careful with what you are downloading.

Limewire has been really good to me as far as finding stuff and d/l speeds go but I have caught a few viruses off it.

I think the worst I got was a back door worm which was pretty easy to remove.

I use Limewire on both my Mac (don't have to worry about them on here) and the desktop pc and I've never had a problem with viruses.
