Altered Beast?!?! WTF?!?!

That game is old as hell. I wonder if the game will come with more stages this time or just the 5 boring stages it came with. Better be a more modern version.

Sega's New Sonic
The hedgehog is back, and this time he's on all systems!

April 28, 2003 - As we draw closer to this year's highly anticipated E3 event in Los Angeles, CA, publishers around the world are beginning to release information on titles soon to be playable on the show floor. Today, Sega steps up to the mic' and puts its franchise Sonic mascot at the top of its E3 list. The company has unveiled plans to publish a brand-new game staring everyone's favorite hedgehog in the upcoming Sonic Heroes for GameCube, PS2, and Xbox. The game will mark the first appearance of the little blue speed demon on the Sony and Microsoft consoles, and the third 3D visit on GameCube (not counting the 2D-based Sonic Mega Collection retro package).
While no screenshots have been released yet, Sega (naturally) describes the title as "his biggest adventure yet," with a new gameplay surprise: players control Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails simultaneously. That's right -- we'll be speeding as Sonic, smashing things up as Knuckles, and flying through the skies as Tails in what sounds to be cooperative, team-based, multi-player craziness. You can be sure that we'll be first in line at its E3 booth to see it in action for ourselves, and we'll report back right away with our first impressions of how this next evolution in the Sonic franchise holds up.

Stay tuned for more details and first screenshots and movies straight from next month's main event.

I was a big fan of Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 so I personally can't wait for Sonic Heroes to come out.
