Default Preview: Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker SS '05

actually read some of the threads here and got somewhat inspired..

Rules: No DQ

A loud 'Hey!' shakes the arena, 'Burn In My Light' starts playing and signals Randy Orton's entrance. RKO finally walks out, after about 7 seconds and hesitantly walks out to the ring. A bit of fear is in the eyes of Orton. No pyro, this time, as Orton looks mesmerized and walks down to the ring. A good pop, mostly girls cheering. You can see a large RKO sign waving in the air, held up by a teenager. He slowly goes through the ropes and stands by the furthest turnbuckle. RKO's music comes to a screeching stop and the arena goes black. Fans cheer and about 3 seconds later, a loud 'boooooong' goes off. Fans get even louder, everyone knows what that means. Tazz yells out 'Here comes the Deadman!' Finally, the Deadman walks out and seems like he is levitating to the ring. Same entrance as usual, and RKO is frozen.

Finally, after a long staredown, the 2 grapple. RKO, being overpowered, gets pushed down by UT. Fans start to laugh a bit, but RKO quickly gets up and clotheslines UT(unsuspecting a thing), and takes the Deadman to the mat. With a bit of confidence now, Orton poses and smiles to the crowd. Taker gets up and the 2 grapple again, with Orton getting the upper-end. A kick into the gut of the Deadman and Orton delivers a DDT. Again, RKO poses and smiles, now attracting boos from the crowd. UT sits up and stalks a posing RKO. RKO turns around and frightened by UT's resiliency, hops out of the ring.

The match gets started about a minute later, with RKO finally getting in the ring and the 2 staring each other down. They get into another grapple where Orton gets UT into a headlock, but the Deadman picks up RKO and delivers a back suplex. UT starts pounding RKO's head, and RKO is trying to block and cover. After about 10 shots to the head, UT whips RKO into the corner, where he attempts a Stinger Splash, only to have RKO move at the last possible second, and the Deadman hits his head on the turnbuckle. A dazed UT gets his legs taken out by RKO, who gives him a chop block. Instead of posing, Orton continues to work on the Deadman's legs, particularly his knee.

UT rolls out of the ring, trying to get some time while RKO exposes the ringside barrier. After he finishes that task, he beats UT's head some more. RKO then lifts UT up for a suplex, and has UT's already hurt knee land onto the exposed barrier. UT screams in pain and Orton expresses a smirk to the crowd. More heat for RKO. Orton rolls UT into the ring and applies a Boston Crab on UT. UT screams in pain and reaches for the ropes, which are about a foot away. UT nudges forward and RKO tries to apply more pressure. He pulls UT further from the ropes and UT continues to scream. He then twists his body, and thrusts his leg so RKO flies off into the ropes. The thrust was so powerful that Orton flies out of the ring onto the outside.

The Deadman continues to grieve in pain on the mat as RKO rolls back into the ring. He climbs the top turnbuckle, waiting for the chance to do a Crossbody. UT quickly gets up and runs into the ropes, RKO slips and has the 'jewels' slam into the turnbuckle. Both men are down and the referee, Mike Chioda, begins to count. 1...2...3...4...5...6 Orton slowly gets up, still feeling the effect of the turnbuckle. UT follows him, still in pain. The 2 slug it out, barely being able to stay on their feet. UT gets the upper edge, only to have RKO give Taker a low blow. UT falls to the ground, while RKO rolls out of the ring. He grabs a steel chair from under the ring and rolls back into the squared-circle. RKO attempts to wrap Taker's leg into the chair but before he could do it, UT thrusts his foot, and the chair Orton is holding, slams back into his face! The crowd erupts when Taker finally stands up, and starts delivering heavy blows to the cranium of Orton. The crowd chants the number of punches Taker throws, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9...Taker waits for the 10th punch and delivers a crushing blow, ripping Orton open. UT, cuts his throat and rolls his eyes to the back of his head, and signals the crowd for the Tombstone Piledriver. He sets up the chair directly below him, so RKO's head would land on it. As UT sets RKO on his shoulder, Cowboy Bob Orton comes in through the crowd and chopblocks UT's leg. Using Taker's downward motion, he delivers a punishing RKO onto the steel chair! Cowboy Orton runs to the back and the ref has no chance but to count 1...2.............3! The crowd has a mix of loud boos and loud cheers and the Legend Killer adds another one to his list! RKO taunts on the turnbuckle and poses.

Winner: Randy Orton!

After 10 seconds of posing, Cowboy Orton comes out with a casket. RKO looks confusingly at his father and then smiles. Taker gets up clumsily and Cowboy Orton alerts his son. RKO turns around to see the Deadman and panics to pick up the chair. UT, on his knees, takes a vicious chair shot from Orton. RKO smiles again and UT's face is covered in blood. Cowboy Orton sets the coffin outside of the ring and RKO slowly rolls UT across the mat and into the coffin. A trail of blood is left across the ring. RKO and his dad give each other a hug and close the casket..together. They leave the ring with the casket, unmoved.

Yeah, not too good. Your thoughts?
