Default Audioslave....

I think Audioslave has a great sound, but then the lead singer comes in and ruins it all. His ass should be replaced by Zack De La Rocha. That would have a great sound!

no way Chris Cornell is a great singer. One of the best hard rock voices out there today.

I think it did.....it was called Rage Against the Machine........j/k. I know what you're saying. Chris Cornell just doesn't cut it with the members of RATM. And now, they're saying they're not going to do any political songs, or anything controversial. It's sad.

I'm kind of dating myself here, but when all these 'grunge' bands came out, it was an amazing time. Now all we have left is a Nirvana single, no Soundgarden, no Smashing Pumpkins, no Alice in Chains, no Jane's Addiction, and a watered down Pearl Jam. I guess it was bound to happen.

Yeah, I heard the Audioslave song and was like damn this sounds good and sounds just like RATM and then when I heard Chris Cornell, it was a huge let down. RATM was great and had so many great political songs, and now no more of that. How dissappointing. Oh well though, nothing anyone can really do about it....

i m personnally quite excited by Audioslave.
Sure it will never reach RATM s cult status but hey who can follow what the rage did?
I think, when you re forgetting morello, wilk and commerford past, audioslave sounds like a pretty good funk/pop/rock band.
And having the possibilty to see the ratm s rythmic live is really to great to refuse .
They will host a live concert here in Paris on 9 th December and i c

Chris Cornell is a music God......& remember, RATM didn't break up........Zach quit cause the rest of the band didn't agree with his ideas.......he threw a queer bitch fit & left cause he didn't get his way.....let the fag go solo cause he ruined his fuckin career when he turned his back on the rest of the group.

Don't get me wrong, Rage was a great group........but the guy's head got way too big......he turned into a greedy, power-hungry jack-off.

I for one, am glad the rest of the group continued on without him & am even happier that Chris Cornell is back in the music business. Audioslave definately kicks ass

Chris Cornell is an amazing singer, and that new Audioslave song is pretty good. And all of the people are saying I like the old RATM better, well what about Soundgarden? They were way better then RATM. I would want to see them back then this new band Audioslave.

I think it s unfair to compare RATM with Soundgarden.
It s definitively not the same kind of music .
I ve just bought and listened to "Audioslave " 's album and it s fucking rock !
Cornell s voice and texts are melodic and more personal than ratm s ones .
And Morello s guitar is better than ever .
I definitively can t wait to see them live !
