Unhappy PlayMakers season finale ***SPOILERS***

Damn, my favorite show is over, and though it was a great show and had a surprise ending, it made me sad how they wrote it.

***SPOILERS***

***SPOILERS***

***SPOILERS***

The Cougars needed to win their final game, and have Phoenix lose in order to make the playoffs. Their star RB, DH, left the game which gave way for Leon Taylor. TAylor had been on the short end of the stick all year, getting snubbed for DH all the time, getting by the owner, and not getting enough playin time. Taylor comes in and gets 83 all purpose yards in less than a quarter. he scored the winning touchdown as the clock expired. Cougars are celebrating with champagne, yelling, etc. and the team manager announces that the team they need to lose, is down 21-10 with like 5 minutes to play. They continue celebrating (all except DH) and then he announces that Phoenix scored and missed the two point conversion. McConnell states that there isn't enough time for them score again unless they get the ball. Team manager then tells him that they recovered the onside kick. They turn up the TV in their locker room and watch the final play, as Hawkins (very Vick-like) breaks a few tackles and dodges people to run for the TD. Coach tells them to turn it off and then the screen goes blank to the credits. I honestly thought they they would make the playoffs and it would have a feel good ending, with Taylor carrying the load in the final minutes. That was VERY surprising, and sad as I was pulling for the Cougars.

Any thoughts on the series?

Final thought, I hope it comes back for a second season, as there are still unanswered questions with a lot of the characters.

I watched it a few times, it was pretty entertaining to say the least.

A tad unrealistic but it was still good.

I meant to watch the final episode but I missed it like I do when it comes to most shows I actually want to watch.

I really do love this show,I was kinda surpised by the ending too stick,When they were celebrating,i thought it would end on a good note, but then phonix came back, which i was kind of sad about, because I wanted them to make it,oh well. Like Stick said, there should be another season, there are just to many questions still left:Will olycek and his girl every get back together? How about his child? Will Robin find out about Leon's other child? And how about the coaches cancer?

I loved it when the Phoenix quarterback was running and Olyzck was like: "I hate that guy."
I knda saw that ending coming. This show is not at all interested in the happy ending, and I've been praying every night since it ended for a second season. I see no reason why it wouldn't come back. They did pretty well in the ratings, I think, and ESPN isn't exactly long on original programming. If that piece of shit morning show they have going stays on and Playmakers doesn't, I'll be pissed.
