The thing is with that list and I read somewhere but dont see it on the list is that Gone With the Wind......if it was released today and sold the same amount of tickets........with todays ticket prices compared to when the 50s?That it would be the #1 movie. So same goes with like the first 3 Star Wars.....and the rest of the 70s and 80s movies....that are up there.......imagine if movie prices were the same then as they are now. Thats why I say RE-Release them. I would love to see all 3 first Star Wars....all 3 Back to the Futures and all 3 Raiders of The Lost Ark back in the theatre.

so were all 3 original Star Wars Movies

btw it is nearly impossible to account for inflated tikcet prices and economic growth and all that
its a complex algebraic equasion that would take entirely too long to figure out

also...Syn, I have seen every movie on the top 50..and own most of them on DVD

I haven't seen a lot of them, a lot of them I don't want to see, And that piss poor fucking James Cameron disgrace that is Titanic makes me want to puke. I'll never forgive him for unleashing that crapfest of a movie when he could have been doing something worth my time, like terminator or Aliens or anything else that he used to do. Fuck that movie. Fuck it forever

also, most of you prolly don't care about this, but when he topped Lucas, Lucas sent him a card that had all the starwars guys sinking on the titanic. It was pretty funny. I forget where I saw that though...
