Yea most of the time...Best way to go before you bid check the feedback of the seller...
If you don't see a lot of negatives then your pretty safe to deal with them...You do have to be careful. What type of stuff are you talking about....

Sorry just saw your note about GI Joe stuff.
I have a friend that keeps buying the Transformers and seems to have really good luck...Just watch your feedbacks

I would rather get my shit new, but if there was something that I couldn't find anywhere else, I would probably use EBay....

A lot of the people actually have started up ebay stores...I always look for the feedback when I bid and go from there...If I check a feedback and they have a bunch of negatives that usually makes me question there business practices... When I check and they have all positive out of a hundreds and some even thousands its a pretty safe bet...
A lot of my craft kits that I buy off of ebay are most always new. Some times people buy them and don't get the chance to use them so they put them on ebay for mainly getting some of there own money back.
Sometimes the ones selling don't know what they have. They take stuff that is left from family estate sales. Think its junk and sometimes turns out to be valuable antiques.
and valuable collectables....
Example the toys. The Barbie Dolls. Transformers Gi Joe and even some of the WWE figures...and Soda I have seen you mention Care Bears do you realize the older ones in good condition are well valuable more then the ones sold in the stores today..
